Meet Leanne

I’ve spent more than 25 years working across the health system, but the thread connecting my career has always been the same — helping people feel better, move well, and feel empowered in their health.

My journey began growing up around farming and home-grown food in regional NSW. My mum, who grew up on a farm at Bogan Gate, inspired an early appreciation for the connection between soil, food, animals, lifestyle, and wellbeing. Growing up surrounded by vegetable gardens and farm animals shaped my interest in health from an early age.

My professional career began in hospital and rehabilitation administration, where I gained valuable insight into the healthcare system and the challenges many people face navigating their care. Those experiences sparked a deeper curiosity about the “why” behind health, healing, and long-term wellbeing.

In the early 2000s, I began studying naturopathy with a strong interest in gut health and the links between digestion, inflammation, hormones, pain, lifestyle, and overall health. This led to running private clinics in Orange and Brisbane, where I developed a deeper understanding of how nutrition, stress, sleep, and movement influence long-term health outcomes.

Over time, I became increasingly passionate about bridging evidence-based natural therapies with mainstream clinical care. This led me back to university, where I completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in 2020.

Physiotherapy strengthened my clinical and rehabilitation skills, allowing me to support people through injury recovery, pain, mobility concerns, chronic conditions, and the physical challenges that can come with different stages of life. Combined with my background in evidence-based natural therapies, my approach is practical, personalised, and focused on whole-person care.

Today, through Orange Physiotherapy & Wellness, I aim to create a warm and supportive space where people feel heard, understood, and confident in their health journey.
